Beatrix Potter-themed days in the Lake District

Hello! I just got back from an absolutely delightful trip to the Lake District, where I visited The World of Beatrix Potter, Beatrix Potter’s house, two stone circles, and just generally explored this beautiful landscape.

Beatrix Potter is a well-known and beloved children’s author, but did you know she also dedicated her life to buying up as much land as possible in the Lake District to protect it from developers? So much of the land is the way it is today because of her! It was really special to visit her home in the Lakes and see her stories brought to life.
