Happy November! Just like that, the year is almost drawing to close. I have been soaking in these months, my favourite time of the year, and enjoying every moment.
I was recently invited to Butser Ancient Farm in Hampshire, an incredible experimental archaeology site complete with Iron Age roundhouses, Saxon halls, Roman villas, and more.
Itβs a truly magical place that brings history to life, and I was honoured to be able to read some of my poems and do some storytelling around the hearth as so many humans have for thousands of years. It was a very special experience, and I have captured it here for you in this videoβ¦
The poems I shared were mainly focused on our deep roots in nature and our connection to the land. They are heartfelt and personal, sharing my insecurities around being a weirdo, aging and ultimately being true to myself.
